Foie Gras Farmers Urge 9th Circ. To Overturn Calif. Ban

Law360, Los Angeles (May 8, 2013, 5:12 PM EDT) -- Foie gras producers and buyers asked the Ninth Circuit on Wednesday to strike down California's ban on the sale of food products made from the forced feeding of geese and ducks, saying it unconstitutionally extends a state regulatory regime against animal cruelty outside California’s borders.
