Apple, LG Dodge Retrial Bid In Video Patent Fight

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 1:56 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday denied an Alcatel-Lucent SA subsidiary's bid for a new trial against Apple Inc. and LG Electronics Inc., ruling substantial evidence supported a jury's verdict that the iPhone and other mobile devices didn't infringe its video compression technology.
