Davis Wright Lands Charter Privacy Pro In DC

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 1:26 PM EDT) -- Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has bolstered its privacy and security practice group by adding a former in-house counsel of Charter Communications Inc. to its Washington office, it said Wednesday.

Christin McMeley, who worked at Charter — the nation's fourth-largest cable provider — for almost a decade, joined Davis Wright as a partner.

The firm said McMeley led the company's cable regulatory group and government affairs teams. She also served as the company's chief privacy officer and successfully implemented Charter's first privacy and data security program....
