Trustee Objects To American Home's Auction Plan

Law360, New York (January 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing the Chapter 11 proceedings of American Home Mortgage Holdings Inc. has opposed the bankrupt lender's request to switch from its earlier plan to hold an open auction for some of its assets to a sealed bid process.

Kelly Beaudin Stapleton filed her objection to the debtors' earlier motion requesting approval of their proposed sale procedures Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. She asked the court to address her grounds for opposition or deny the motion altogether....
