Contractor Wins Back VA Small Biz Status In $25M Fight

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 2:24 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Thursday said the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs was wrong to take away a contractor's veteran-owned small business designation after it won a $25 million project bid, and ordered the status reinstated.

KWV Inc. obtained its veteran-owned small business status in February 2012, and subsequently won a bid to perform some work for VA's Boston Health Care System.
