EEOC Updates Guidance On Cancer, Other Disabilities

Law360, New York (May 15, 2013, 6:53 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Wednesday updated its informal guidance for employers on how the Americans with Disabilities Act applies to job applicants and employees with cancer, diabetes, epilepsy and intellectual disabilities to reflect the broadening of the law's definition of a disability.
