Saints Coach Settles Investor Fraud Suit Against Ex-Player

Law360, New York (May 16, 2013, 8:01 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Thursday dismissed New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton's contract claims alleging a former Saints snapper drew him and others into an investment scheme involving fake film tax credits, following a settlement of the action.

U.S. District Judge Helen G. Berrigan dismissed the case with prejudice and ordered each side to pay their own costs and attorneys' fees. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
