Epson Imaging Tossed From LCD Antitrust Case

Law360 (January 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Epson Imaging Devices Corp. has been dismissed from the multidistrict litigation over thin film transistor liquid crystal display products that accuses a dozen companies of operating a global cartel to fix the prices of LCDs sold in the United States.

Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California signed off on an order Tuesday letting Epson Imaging out of the direct purchaser action after the parties reached a stipulation to that effect on Monday.
