Denso Execs To Plead Guilty In Auto Parts Cartel Probe: DOJ

Law360, New York (May 21, 2013, 3:52 PM EDT) -- Two more executives at Japan's Denso Corp. have agreed to cop to their roles in international plots to fix prices for auto parts and to serve more than a year in prison, the U.S. Department of Justice said Tuesday.

Yuji Suzuki and Hiroshi Watanabe reached plea agreements with the DOJ, becoming the third and fourth Denso executives to plead guilty to antitrust violations since Denso agreed to pay $78 million to exit the auto parts probe in early 2012, the DOJ said.
