Delphi Says Ch. 11 Plan Pleases Most Creditors

Law360 (January 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Delphi Corp. said its blueprint for emerging from Chapter 11 has garnered broad-based support among the company's creditors, an announcement that came just one day before a confirmation hearing on its restructuring plan on Thursday.

The auto parts supplier will ask Judge Robert D. Drain of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York to green-light its first amended joint plan of reorganization at a confirmation hearing on Thursday in Manhattan.
