Cerberus Settles Ex-Managing Director's Retaliation Suit

Law360, New York (May 24, 2013, 4:45 PM EDT) -- Cerberus Capital Management LP on Friday settled a lawsuit lodged by a former managing director who accused the firm of firing her in retaliation for alerting higher-ups to what she believed to be misleading marketing materials that violated securities laws. 

Cerberus and former employee Lisa Marie Vioni filed a stipulation asking a New York federal judge to dismiss Vioni's suit against the firm because the parties had amicably resolved the claims. The terms of the settlement are confidential, according to the filing.
