Judge Grants 30-Day Stay To Negotiating Pharma Cos.

Law360 (January 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has agreed to keep a patent infringement lawsuit over a nasal spray for women with osteoporosis on hold while Novartis AG and Apotex Inc. attempt to work out a settlement.

On Wednesday, Magistrate Judge Henry B. Pitman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York signed off on a 30-day stay. The approval came just a day after Novartis requested the stay in a letter to the court.
