Law360, New York (May 29, 2013, 12:28 PM EDT) -- French oil and gas company Total SA has agreed to pay $398 million to settle civil and criminal allegations it violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by bribing intermediaries of an Iranian government official to win lucrative contracts there, U.S. authorities said Wednesday.
