Cravath Still Owes Me Almost $1M: Ex-Attorney

Law360, New York (January 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former attorney's lawsuit against Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, which accuses the law firm of paying him hundreds of thousands of dollars less than he was promised in his contract, has been moved from state court to the federal arena.

James Colliton, a one-time mergers & acquisitions attorney at Cravath, first sued his former employer in the New York Supreme Court on Dec. 26, alleging that the firm violated his contract by paying a lower-ranked attorney a total of $750,000 more over a 27-month period....
