GOP Reps. Urge DOL To Withdraw Persuader Activity Rule

Law360, New York (May 31, 2013, 6:49 PM EDT) -- Leaders of the House Education and the Workforce Committee on Thursday urged the U.S. Department of Labor to withdraw its proposed regulations shrinking the advice exemption to the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, saying the rules could negatively impact the confidential attorney-client relationship.
