State Farm Blasts Efforts To Expand Katrina FCA Case

Law360, New York (May 31, 2013, 2:28 PM EDT) -- State Farm Fire & Casualty Co. on Thursday blasted a whistleblower’s attempts to open discovery into 6,000 post-Hurricane Katrina flood claims as a premature fishing expedition in the wake of a recent Mississippi jury verdict finding it committed fraud against the federal flood insurance program.
