Kinder Morgan To Spend $107M On Texas Pipeline Extension

Law360, New York (June 4, 2013, 12:23 PM EDT) -- Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP plans to invest $107 million to expand its pipeline network in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas by more than 30 miles, the Houston-based midstream limited partnership said Monday.

Backed by a contract from ConocoPhillips Co., Kinder Morgan will extend its 178-mile pipeline by 31 miles from DeWitt County to the energy giant's central delivery facility in Karnes County. Kinder Morgan will also build a truck unloading facility and storage tanks to support the pipeline extension.
