Google Bashes Apple, Microsoft Bans On 3rd-Party App Sales

Law360, New York (June 4, 2013, 7:26 PM EDT) -- A member of Google Inc.'s Android security team on Tuesday criticized Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp. and BlackBerry for preventing mobile users from downloading apps from third-party stores, saying any potential security concerns could be cured by clearly explaining to users how the apps function.
