Highmark Blasts UPMC Bid For Docs On $5M Antitrust Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (June 4, 2013, 10:28 PM EDT) -- Insurer Highmark Inc. on Tuesday slammed efforts by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, its co-defendant in an antitrust suit, to force the handover of documents detailing Highmark’s aborted $4.8 million settlement in the case, saying UPMC’s claims that Highmark colluded with the plaintiffs are moot.
