El Paso Moves To Block Asarco Site Reopening

Law360 (January 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The city of El Paso, Texas, has asked a bankruptcy judge to lift an automatic stay so that it can oppose Asarco LLC's bid for a permit to reopen a smelter site that the city says will emit severe amounts of pollution into nearby communities.
