Truckers, Greens Want Cross-Border Challenge Revived

Law360, New York (June 6, 2013, 6:05 PM EDT) -- U.S. truck drivers and environmentalists have asked the full D.C. Circuit to reconsider allegations that a pilot program allowing Mexico-domiciled trucking companies to operate trucks throughout the U.S. was unlawful, the groups said Wednesday.

Industry lobbying group the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, labor union International Brotherhood of Teamsters and green group Sierra Club asked the appeals court to grant an en banc rehearing for their various challenges of the program, which the court rejected in April.
