Class Action Status Backed In Fight Over Va. Gas Royalties

Law360, New York (June 6, 2013, 3:02 PM EDT) -- A Virginia federal magistrate judge recommended Wednesday that thousands of landowners in Appalachia who allege EQT Production Co. and CNX Gas Co. robbed them of tens of millions of dollars in royalty payments for natural gas can proceed with their claims on a class-action basis.
