Korean Investigators Raid Samsung Amusement Park

Law360, New York (January 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Korean prosecutors raided a Samsung Group-affiliated amusement park on Monday in search of millions of dollars' worth of artwork that may have been bought with an illegal slush fund, according to South Korean news outlets.

A group of 10 investigators combed warehouses at Samsung Everland in Yongin, South Korea, after receiving tips that the park had been used to stash expensive artwork, the Yonhap news agency said.

The reports did not say whether any artwork was found.
