Monsanto Hit With Class Suits Over GMO Wheat Market Scare

Law360, New York (June 7, 2013, 2:17 PM EDT) -- A group of northwest farmers and a food safety advocate hit Monsanto Co. with putative class actions in Washington on Thursday and Friday over the appearance of unapproved genetically engineered wheat in Oregon crops, which they say depressed wheat prices and chilled international exports.
