SoCal Edison Will Close Troubled Calif. Nuke Plant

Law360, New York (June 7, 2013, 2:47 PM EDT) -- Southern California Edison Co. on Friday said it would permanently retire its San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, currently shuttered following a radiation leak, saying it would be too costly to restore the plant to full operating capacity with uncertainty over whether regulators will allow it to restart.
