Philly Planning Commission OKs Core Development Plans

Law360, Philadelphia (June 11, 2013, 4:42 PM EDT) -- The Philadelphia City Planning Commission on Tuesday unanimously approved two ambitious strategic plans focusing on zoning changes and infrastructure improvements in the Central District and University Southwest District, which together host more than half of all jobs in the city.

The plans, part of a greater series of goals for the Philadelphia2035 comprehensive framework for the city’s development, seek to push further growth and development through strategies including rezoning and enhanced transportation projects.
