Fla. AG Taps State Gov't Atty For Solicitor General Post

Law360, Miami (June 10, 2013, 6:52 PM EDT) -- Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi named Allen Winsor as the state's solicitor general Friday afternoon, promoting him from principal deputy solicitor general to succeed the departing Timothy D. Osterhaus, who was appointed to a state appellate court last month. 

Winsor will assume responsibility for overseeing the state's civil appeals before state and federal courts, as well as providing support to Bondi in high-profile cases.
