Pa. High Court Won't Hear Philly Union's Contract Dispute

Law360, Philadelphia (June 10, 2013, 4:12 PM EDT) -- Over objections from Chief Justice Ronald Castille, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Friday refused to exercise extraordinary jurisdiction to take over a lawsuit filed by the city of Philadelphia aimed at implementing a contract with it largest municipal employees’ union after four years of stalled labor talks.
