NJ Pure Says Fox Rothschild Should Stay In Competition Suit

Law360, New York (June 10, 2013, 3:11 PM EDT) -- Medical malpractice insurer New Jersey Physicians United Reciprocal Exchange told a federal judge Monday that its counsel in an unfair competition suit against a rival shouldn't be disqualified because Fox Rothschild LLP's connection to the rival doesn't create a conflict of interest.

The insurer, known as NJ Pure, told U.S. Magistrate Judge Tonianne J. Bongiovanni in a letter that Fox Rothschild's work defending two of The Medical Protective Co. Inc.'s insureds in unrelated medical malpractice litigation isn't enough to show that the firm should be removed...
