SEC Probing Cardiovascular Systems Over PE Firm's Trading

Law360, New York (June 10, 2013, 4:37 PM EDT) -- Medical device maker Cardiovascular Systems Inc. on Friday said the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating venture capital and private equity firm Easton Hunt Capital Partners LP, along with its founder, a CSI board member, in connection with a so-called Rule 10b5-1 trading plan.

CSI said it received an informal request from the SEC for information related to Easton and its managing partner John H. Friedman’s Rule 10b5-1 trading plans and policies, as was described in an April Wall Street Journal article that detailed allegations...
