Insurer Owes Malpractice Coverage, Top NY Court Says

Law360, New York (June 11, 2013, 2:11 PM EDT) -- A Zurich Insurance Co. unit breached its duty to defend a lawyer sued by two of his investors for malpractice and therefore cannot rely on policy exclusions to escape indemnifying the investors for a $3.1 million judgment, New York's highest court said Tuesday.
