FDA, Food Safety Groups Float Competing Timelines For Rules

Law360, New York (June 11, 2013, 5:26 PM EDT) -- After failing to reach a compromise in a California lawsuit, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and two consumer groups submitted separate proposals Monday for the rollout of overdue food safety regulations, with the agency indicating it may need until 2017 or later to finalize all of the rules.
