EEOC Scores $3.4M Win In ADA Suit Over Abused Workers

Law360, New York (June 12, 2013, 4:24 PM EDT) -- An Iowa federal judge entered a $3.4 million judgment Tuesday against Hill Country Farms Inc. — which the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said abused and underpaid intellectually disabled turkey plant workers — after a $240 million jury verdict was slashed because of damage caps.
