5th Circ. Judicial Misconduct Complaint Can't Stop Execution

Law360, Dallas (June 12, 2013, 5:31 PM EDT) -- A day after the Fifth Circuit’s chief judge moved a last-minute death penalty appeal away from a panel including Judge Edith Jones following a judicial misconduct complaint, the reassigned panel on Wednesday said it found no injustice in the court’s earlier rulings in the case.
