Appeals Court Asked To Toss $11M Award In Oil Rig Collapse

Law360, Houston (June 19, 2013, 9:51 PM EDT) -- Lawyers for an oilfield equipment manufacturer told a Texas appeals court Wednesday that a jury should have been allowed to consider Apache Corp.’s contribution to a Louisiana oil rig collapse that resulted in an $11 million judgment in favor of an injured worker.
