7-Eleven Bosses Face Charges Over Foreign Workers

Law360, New York (June 17, 2013, 6:16 PM EDT) -- Prosecutors have charged eight men and one woman with employing at least 50 workers living in the country illegally at 7-Eleven stores they controlled, the result of one of the largest criminal immigration investigations in U.S. history, the U.S. Department of Justice said Monday.

Nine defendants face charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, stealing identities and concealing and harboring workers living in the country without legal permission, the DOJ said in a statement announcing the unsealing of the charges.
