MPEG LA Skirts Antitrust Claims In Converter Box Royalty Row

Law360, New York (June 20, 2013, 3:28 PM EDT) -- A New York state judge has tossed antitrust counterclaims in a breach of contract suit brought by patent-pool manager MPEG LA LLC over allegedly unpaid patent royalties, finding GXI International LLC did not do enough to back allegations that MPEG LA monopolized the market for digital-to-analog television converter boxes.
