3-D Printer Cos. Ink $403M Deal To Merge

Law360, Los Angeles (June 19, 2013, 10:14 PM EDT) -- Three-dimensional printer maker Stratasys Inc. has scooped up desktop 3-D printing company MakerBot in a $403 million merger that comes roughly six months after Stratasys merged with Israel-based 3-D printer manufacturer Objet Ltd. in a $1.4 billion deal, Stratasys announced Wednesday.

Under the terms of the merger, which is expected to be completed during the third quarter of this year, Stratasys said it will initially issue roughly 4.76 million shares in exchange for all the outstanding capital stock of MakerBot. Stratasys added that MakerBot stakeholders also...
