Court Breathes New Life Into Suit Against Ikon, GE

Law360, New York (January 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appeals court has reversed a lower court's decision to dismiss an antitrust suit against Ikon Office Solutions and General Electric.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit said Wednesday that the case — brought by Newcal Industries Inc., CPO. Ltd, Pinnacle Document Systems Inc., Pacific Office Automatic Inc. and Kearns Business Solution Inc. — should be reinstated. The companies lease copiers.
