J&J Faces New Challenge To Schizophrenia Drug

Law360, New York (November 16, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- India-based generic drug maker Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. has been sued by Johnson & Johnson for attempting to manufacture and sell a generic version of its popular drug for schizophrenia and bipolar I disorder.

J&J filed the suit through its Belgium-based subsidiary Janssen Pharmaceutica NV and its New Jersey-based partners Janssen Pharmaceutical Products LP. The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
