Ousted CEO Clawing His Way Back: U.S. Energy

Law360, New York (January 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Amid fears that a corporate takeover by Nakash Energy was in the works, U.S. Energy Systems has asked the Manhattan bankruptcy court for injunctive relief against its former chief executive, who the company claims is attempting to weasel his way back into power.

On Thursday, U.S. Energy brought a verified complaint against ousted leader Asher Fogel, barely a week after begging the Manhattan bankruptcy court to find him in contempt for allegedly violating the automatic stay decreed by the bankruptcy code.
