NY Women's Workplace Bills Stalled By Abortion Measure

Law360, New York (June 21, 2013, 10:21 PM EDT) -- Legislation that could assist women in achieving paycheck equality in New York appeared to be in peril late Friday after a women's bloc in the state Assembly said it would not approve passage of the legislation, backed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, without the inclusion of a controversial abortion provision.
