AIG Unit Fights Against Covering $19M Mine Collapse Deal

Law360, New York (June 21, 2013, 6:46 PM EDT) -- An American International Group Inc. subsidiary argued Friday that it shouldn't reimburse Associated Electric & Gas Insurance Services Ltd. for some of the $19 million AEGIS paid to settle claims from a deadly mine collapse in Utah, telling a court that its policy was not triggered.
