Apple IPhone 4 Infringes Microstructure Patent, Suit Says

Law360, New York (June 24, 2013, 1:30 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. was hit with a patent infringement lawsuit Friday in Texas federal court alleging its iPhone 4 and other devices infringe a Taiwanese company's patent regarding a fabrication method for a micro-electro mechanical structure.

MemSmart Semiconductor Corp. says Apple has infringed its patent, U.S. Patent Number 7,829,364, entitled Method of Fabricating a Suspension Microstructure, by making, using, importing, selling and offering to sell devices that have a suspension microstructure and incorporate elements of the '364 patent.
