Supreme Court Won't Hear E15 Ethanol Fuel Challenge

Law360, New York (June 24, 2013, 1:24 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday handed the ethanol industry a win by refusing to consider food, petroleum and engine manufacturing trade groups' challenges to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's approval of a controversial gasoline blend with 15 percent ethanol.

Trade associations including the Grocery Manufacturers Association, the American Petroleum Institute and the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers had filed petitions for writ of certiorari with the high court after the D.C.
