Texas Lawmakers Advance Abortion Restriction Bill

Law360, Dallas (June 24, 2013, 7:54 PM EDT) -- After a weekend of intense public debate, the Republican-dominated Texas House on Monday advanced a controversial bill that would restrict abortions, setting up a likely filibuster from Senate Democrats who have vowed to kill the bill before the special session ends Tuesday.
