Partners Group Spends $270M For Big Stake In IT Servicer

Law360, New York (June 25, 2013, 11:49 AM EDT) -- Swiss investment firm Partners Group put up $270 million for a majority stake in Silicon Valley's CSS Corp., betting that tech support providers will see sustained growth as more blue-chip companies shift to outsourced data-management and cloud-based systems, it said Tuesday.

The firms did not disclose the financial terms of their agreement, or say how big a stake Partners would take. Technology entrepreneur Sanjay Chakrabarty took an unspecified minority stake in connection with the transaction.
