Blogger Can’t Shake Sherrod Defamation Suit In DC Circ.

Law360, Los Angeles (June 25, 2013, 6:28 PM EDT) -- The D.C. Circuit on Tuesday denied a conservative blogger's request to dismiss former U.S. Department of Agriculture official Shirley Sherrod's defamation suit claiming BigGovernment.com posted a doctored video that got her fired, ruling that the blogger's motion wasn't timely.

Featured blogger Larry O'Connor argued that a lower court should have granted the motion made by him and website founder Andrew Breitbart, who is now deceased, under Washington's Anti-Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation statute.
