Jones Day Adds Former Cybercrime Fed to Texas IP Practice

Law360, New York (July 22, 2013, 7:42 PM EDT) -- Jones Day lured one of the government’s top guns back into private practice on Monday, adding privacy expert and former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas Richard “Jay” Johnson as of counsel to its Dallas intellectual property practice.

Johnson's resume boasts years of experience in computer hacking and intellectual property prosecution, including a recent stint as the Eastern District’s Computer Hacking /Intellectual Property (CHIP) coordinator as well as previous work with the U.S. Justice Department's National Security Cyber Specialist network.
