Insurer Sues Detroit Over Apartment Building Demolition

Law360, Los Angeles (June 25, 2013, 8:19 PM EDT) -- An insurance company has sued the city of Detroit over the allegedly illegal demolition of an apartment building owned by one of its policyholders, saying the city violated the building owner's Fifth Amendment right to be compensated for the property.
